NRA Firearms Safety Course
This beginner's course is the basic class we offer to anyone unfamiliar with guns or who needs to learn gun terminology. In this course, students will get the firearm safety knowledge needed to become familiar with the safe handling of firearms. In addition we will introduce you to the terminology and the rules of safe gun handling, identifying and unloading various firearms, ammunition, cleaning, and storage. Students will also get hands-on experience with the most common types of handguns, rifles and shotguns.

NRA Basic Pistol Course
A pistol, or handgun, are firearms designed to be fired while being held in one hand. While these firearms are small and compact, they can be a challenge to learn. The Top Shot Class Basic Pistol course is an essential part of our professional training. Here, students get the NRA's "The Basics of Pistol Shooting" handbook and intensive lessons in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, various pistol firing positions, several practical exercises on the firing range, cleaning, storage, and a complete summary of pistol sports and activities.
Lessons learned in this course:
Firearm safety is the primary concern in this high paced, high energy class! You will learn how to draw from a holster and clear a malfunction during a high-stress situation. Students are taught different firing positions while reloading quickly and efficiently. This class will enable you to improve your marksmanship under stress.
Students learn to operate their shotgun on the move while overtaking obstacles. Students engage in shooting from numerous positions under stress.
The class is designed for your semi-automatic rifle. You will learn how to learn the proper use of your rifle from numerous positions while reloading on the move.
This class involves safety instructions and range etiquette with an emphasis on basic rifle marksmanship. You will learn to disassemble, assemble and maintenance of your rifle. In addition students learn how to zero-in the rifle and finally, on to live fire training.
Low Light Night Response and Shoot
Instructors will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of shooting at night. Students will be taught the proper way of using their flashlights and utilizing cover. This class is taught primarily outdoors in the dark of night.
Women's Personal Defense
This hands-on class is focused on women and their defense. Students are taught how to defend themselves prior to using a firearm. This class is about knowing their surroundings and recognizing the many dangers that women may encounter in their day-to-day lives.
This course is specially designed for individuals who take responsibility for their own safety using a non-lethal mode of protection. You will learn situation awareness including self defense using and deploying OC pepper spray. It's the best all-around device for personal security.
